New Beginnings Fellowship was established in 1998. The current building was purchased in 2002. Pastor Thomas and Jo Smotherman became pastor's in January of 2013.
We believe in God the Father, Jesus Christ, His Son and the Holy Ghost, the third person in the Trinity: repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ the remission of sins. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in other tongues according to (Acts 2:4; 10:44-46 and 19:6). We believe in baptism of water by immersion, in the name of the Father, of the Son, and the Holy Ghost (Matthew 28:19), and healing of the sick as in (James 5:14-15). We believe that man by nature is sinful and unholy, being born in sin he needs to be born again, sanctified and cleansed from all sin by the blood of Jesus Christ. We believe in the sacrament, the partaking of the Lord's Supper (Luke 22:19-20, II Peter 1:4 and 1 Corinthians 11:26), and washing of the saints feet (13:12-18), we accept the Bible and it's teachings to be the revealed will of God (II Timothy 3:15-17, 1 Peter 1:14-21), the sufficient rule of faith and practice.
The Mission of this church shall be to establish and maintain a place for Worship of the Almighty God our Father.

We believe the Bible is God's revealed will. Timothy 3:15-17 "and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
The idea of community comes from the sense of responsibility we have for each other. In the Bible, God encourages us to take care of our brethren while following the word of the Lord. We must remember the importance of maintaining the connection with our fellow man to ensure a thriving community. 1 Corinthians 1:10 "I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought."
Jesus commanded believers to love God and to love one another. Matthew 22:37-39 "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself."
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in other tongues. Acts 2:4 "All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them."
We can rely on God’s power, to not only heal our emotional pain but for physical healing as well. James 5:14-15 "Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.
